The Red Friday Pins
June 11, 2018
The Red Friday Toronto pin commemorates the events in April 2018 and is designed to remind the public of the First Responder’s role, the Red Friday 1918 – 2018 reminds us of the historic ties that bind the Red Friday family together.
Our goal is to sell 100,000 pins!
Wear both pins proudly!
The updated RED Friday includes First Responders (police, fire and medical) and Military. Historically, many First Responders served in the Military (we had 62 firefighters in the 4th CMR during WW1), Today, both the Military and First Responders are deployed (either at home or overseas). First Responders and the Military set the example of courage, selflessness and civic duty while their members suffer from many of the same health issues both physical and mental injuries, such as PTSD.
The Mission: To provide relief to those members of the RED Friday family afflicted with work related injury through: pin sales.
What buying a pin does?
We use the funds to provide scholarships for Military cadets training to become first responders, we raise awareness of the RED Friday Family and their examples of courage, civic duty and commitment through a public awareness campaign.
And donate to Wounded Warriors Canada, The Ontario Safety League and TEMA – the Tema Counter Memorial Trust.
Red Friday is a project of the 4th Canadian Mounted Rifles Association, a federally incorporated not-for-profit.
This is a noble project and we need your help. Participate, buy pins and wear them!
