We are self sufficient. As veterans, this is something we learned while in the military, however, we are not afraid to ask for a helping hand now and then.
The 4 CMRA has the Vimy Commemorative Ride Medallions and Vimy Ride patches plus other items for sale to make it self funding, with other patent pending products and trade marked items, which will be added.
We have an ambitious agenda including the following projects;
1. The Vimy downloadable teaching the history of the battle, distributed to schools free of charge by the Royal Canadian Legion in February 2017, marking the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, we reached 3000 schools in Ontario;
2. The Mayor’s Commemorative Vimy Band Concert, in April 2017, commemorating in sounds and music the 1914-1918-era, a great success;
3. The 2017 Vimy Commemorative Motorcycle Rides June through November, on replica WW1 Douglas Dispatch Riders’ motorcycles, visiting locations through out Ontario;
4. The 2018 Cross USA Commemorative Motorcycle ride, on the same WW1 motorcycles.
And all the while we support Wounded Warriors Canada so that they may continue their great work helping veterans and first responders - Fire, Ambulance and Police, with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD).
We would appreciate your help so that we can continue our work, any amount will be appreciated.
For those who donate $25.00 or more we will issue you our beautiful “For Services Rendered” certificate, signed and dated and suitable for framing.
We are a federally registered not-for-profit association. We are not a charity; therefore, we are not able to issue you a tax receipt.
We appreciate your assistance in our efforts to continue to honour those citizens from across Canada, who fought in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, and in many cases made the supreme sacrifice.
We take pride in their service and the continuing service of our members of the Canadian Armed Forces and first responders – all from across Canada.
